Oostenburg

Oostenburg will be developed into a new city district with around 1500 homes. There will be a mix of social, mid-range and free-sector rental homes, owner-occupied apartments, self-build homes, relaxation areas, and hospitality and business. The historic core of Oostenburg is preserved, in the form of the 19th-century shipyard, the monumental Werkspoorhal, the old quay walls and the iconic blue crane stands remain as symbols of the area’s history.
