In 2018 VDP was contracted by the Hadid Design and Development group to design Morocco’s first 26 storey twin tower complex.
Our aim was to indulge all the senses and create a spectacular pedestrian draw on approach to The Coora. The buildings are positioned in such a way that the exposure to the ocean is unobstructed. Truly one of a kind, the impressive height of the towers vastly surpasses any commercial/residential structure in Morocco.
Accessible to pedestrians and residents alike, The Coora is a self-contained hub of amenities. Residents will enjoy the proximity to the beach as well as the spectacular infinity pools. The pools are positioned to maximize the illusion of tranquilly blending into the sea itself. The historic core of Oostenburg is preserved, in the form of the 19th-century shipyard, the monumental Werkspoorhal, the old quay walls and the iconic blue crane stands remain as symbols of the area’s history.

VDP is proud to have been asked to design Memaar Al Morshedy’s exciting new educational project. Al Hayah University will offer wide range syllabuses including the Faculty of Arts and Design, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Communication and Media, Faculty of Business, and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Designed as an homage to the ancient Egyptians who built custom monuments to honor their departed leaders and Icons. As in ancient Egypt each pavilion is unique to the faculty it represents.

Residential Terrace Design for a Celebrity Fashion and Style Icon.
We have created an elegant and fun oasis that will be an outdoor extension of her living room, giving her the atmosphere to entertain friends as well as a private and tranquil escape from the hectic vibe of the city.
The space will feature a lush wall of softly illuminated greenery offering a romantic ambiance to the terrace as well as a vibrant focal point as viewed from the living room.
The lounging area will be beautifully shaded by a canopy of flowering vines and foliage wrapped around the trellis work, allowing light to gently fill the space while also ensuring privacy.
We have thoughtfully curated a selection of artwork, lighting and designer furniture pieces that will stylishly pop against the green plantscapes.

A tribute to old school tattoo culture & old school Dutch design.
Contemporary design and Traditional craftsmanship is the foundation of the Cookie Bros Tattoo Chair. Equipped with a variety of adjustable and removable parts makes the chair versatile in function and appearance. Each chair is constructed of solid ash for it’s naturally detailed wood grain and solidity. The design is inspired by American Traditional tattoo culture but is functional in any kind of interior setting.
The Cookie Bros have also collaborated with renowned American tattoo artist Danny Boy AKA Daniel Sawyer to create limited addition pieces featuring his original tattoo flash artwork. These feature chairs are artificially aged to emulate a decades old antique tattooist’s chair. The aptly named “Danny Boy Chair” acts as the perfect canvas for Traditional American tattoo art, showing off the beauty of an artform which has been around for decades.
